Privacy notice
Last updated: 1 August 2026. This notice explains what happens to personal data you give to Dobosi Consulting through this website.
Who is responsible
Dobosi Consulting Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. Company number 08222493, registered in England and Wales. Registered office address is on the legal information page.
You can contact us about anything in this notice at office@dobosi.co.uk.
What this website collects
Nothing.
There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no account, no login. The site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What happens if you contact us
If you email or call, we hold your name, your contact details, the firm you work for and whatever you tell us — because that is how a conversation works. We use it to reply and, if an engagement follows, to run it.
Analytics
We use a privacy-focused analytics tool that counts page views without cookies and without collecting or storing personal data. It does not build a profile of you, follow you to other sites, or record an identifier we could tie back to a person. We see how many people read a page, not who they were.
Our lawful basis
For responding to an enquiry: legitimate interests. You contacted a business about its services and it is reasonable for that business to reply. You can object at any time and we will stop.
For any later marketing: consent, which we would ask for separately. We do not have a mailing list at present, and if that changes you will not be added to it because you once sent an enquiry.
Who else sees it
Email is delivered and stored by a mail provider acting as a processor under contract, which does not use the data for its own purposes. No personal data is sold, shared for advertising, or transferred outside the UK or the EEA without an appropriate safeguard in place.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work: deleted within 12 months.
Correspondence relating to work carried out: kept for 6 years after the engagement ends, which is the period during which a claim could still be brought.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to us holding it on legitimate interests grounds, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to office@dobosi.co.uk and you will get a reply within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you raised it with us first, but you do not have to.
